Hell why not another update?
This weekend:
so far: I hung out with lauren, got plans canceled on my by carder, pissed off my best friend and cannot figure out what set her so far over the line, and watched the new oc.
Tomorrow I will: get my tux fitted, eat at taco mac, and then who knows what i'm doing at night?

So. I may not be able to pass a personality test at applebees, but I can become a finalist for the four year scholarship at oxford college of emory, and the presidential scholarship for GSU... how about that.
Today has been a good day. Nothing bad happened in school today. My team won spades in Physics. I dropped off an application to McCalisters. I hung out with lauren for several hours. My team won Trivia. I found out i am a finalist for the scholarship at GSU... and I'm gonna go watch the OC. Later guys

I'm updating because i'm sick of being stagnant...
This weekend kinda sucked... or did at least toward the end. I hung with rachel friday, got musik and hung out with steven and Sarah B, then hung with ryan and matt meador the rest of the day saturday. Sunday and Monday I completely wasted. I was semi-ditched by lauren monday morning, but she just overslept, so i cant really complain because i've done it before. Everyone was busy at night, and i was left to my lonesome, except for the few hours rachel was nice enough to hang out with me. I got to finish the Bob Dylan Documentary, but other than that, got nothing done.
A few good things came otu of this weekend. I got a shitload of musik from both steven and abbey, and that always makes me happy. Ryan and I got a little work done conceptually on our next movie, which is good...

I just got Home from Home.
Christmas was amazing. Got good gifts, and gave them as well. Unfortunately did not have much money this year for gifts, however i hope to find a job in the next few weeks, so if you got connections, let me know. I love my family and my friends. Speaking of friends, i havent spoken to any of you in a week. We should hang out. give me a call before break ends.

I've decided to give up all forms of internet communication. AIM and LJ put me in touch with people's lives, but not with them. Its like watching everything on tv. If you want to hang to make a legitimate connection, you have my number. We'll talk or hang out, i dont care. I'll really listen to your problems, instead of skimming through them on my friends page. I should hope you would do the same for me.

Film is done. Joiner, Ben and I will be premiering all three of our movies at my house at a semi-movie night. (we'll watch a different movie afterward.) everyone is invited. I however do warn some of you that lauren overstreet is my best friend and will be attending. if you see a problem with this, then do not come.

So filming has gone very well, or so i hope. i havent looked at the footage yet.
Best case scenario: everything turns out perfect
Worse case scenario: tomorrow while editing i find i messed everything up and must refilm with better lighting and audio

In other news school sucks as does everything. I dont like the person that i am this year, and yet do not want to change...

today was the first day of filming and it went marvelously. carrie plays a good crackwhore and ryan plays a good councelor. and ben is just amazing. no glitches so far, but then again we havent filmed the bulk of it.
filming schedule= wednesday with ben and my mom... friday with carrie/ben and saturday any extra we need with ben/my mom
for all of you out there: i need extras on friday at my house. i'll serve pizza and we'll watch a movie and then start filming around 10pm when carrie gets in. i'd appreciate anyone who can come at around 8pm. leave names if available.

So friday i was supposed to check out a GL1 so i could start filming today. oops. now i'm gonna be crunched to get all of the film done, and i hope i dont have to cut too many corners to make the whole thing suck. So the rest of this weekend will be spent researching legalization of marijuana, and finishing my story board.

I dont really use this journal for anything pertaining to my life, so i figured i'd make it a catalog of my first real movie making experience. I've made a few short films before, but none will compare to the magnitude of this one. I've never actually done a real speaking film that was good, so i hope this will be the first. I've already written up my proposal and had it approved by mr. J and enlisted Ryan to help me write it. The plan is to have the story written by sometime next week, and storyboarded/shot sheeted before the weekend before thanksgiving break. I'll film friday, saturday, sunday, tuesday, and wednesday and hopefully have all material i need done. I really am vesting my hopes in this because it will be my biggest job. I've even turned down a job opportunity at best buy because i need to work on this, and that is after months of searching for a job.
This is a big endevor and anyone that wishes to help would be greatly appreciated, including actors that are available on all of those days. If you are semi-interested, read the main idea in this proposal, and contact me if your interest persists.

I love that feeling.
When everything is just a bit too nippy so you slip on another layer of clothes and find that happy warmth. It is not uncomfortable and sweaty nor is it cold and bitter, but it is just past the brink of contentment. I'm wearing slippers, pants, 2 shirts, and a bathrobe and i've never been more satisfied. It's that contrast that makes the warmth so special, knowing how cold you could be yet how warm you are. Cooling off in the Summer just does not hold the same effect. I love Autumn and Winter and most of all the Cold.
I love apple crisp and pumpkin pie. I love caramel apples and hot cocoa or apple cider, whatever is available. The tastes and smells put me back in Minnesota, where I truly learned to appreciate and love that warm feeling. I think of my Grandma and my Family and all the love assosiated with them. I hope we go back for Christmas.
Spring and Summer have nothing on Fall and Winter

So ive decided to discontinue my updates on livejournal.
They have become the sporadic plot summary of my life, without any actual commentary
I dont feel i can be truly honest about my feelings on certain subjects and toward certain people, so really what is the point of this than to please others?
I'm not quitting, like some people do, and blame lj for drama or some issues that they have themselves, because my updates didnt cause drama like that, and indeed I did not make my updates meaningful becuase i was trying to avoid problems.
Bottom line is, if you care about me beyond what you can read in my short summaries of my day, then you'll give me a call once in while, and if i care about you, we hang out outside of school. Who needs lj.

Holy shit. Feezer was amazing.
I really cannot say much about it other than you should have been there. Weezer kicked ass, and then the Foo Fighters put on the best performance i have ever seen. I do regret not getting general admission, however our seats were fine. I seriously need to start going to more concerts... which means getting a job... which reminds me; i have to go call target now.

well my weekend turned out much different than expected, but was still amazingly good.
Friday i went to the game (that makes two in a row) and hung out with several groups of people. That was a lot of fun despite us getting our asses handed to us. Afterwards we went to waffle house and hung with melissa and griffin.
Saturday Rachel and I had planned on giving blood at the drive in Mall o GA. However when we arrived at 3:30, it was already filled up for the day. Though we were discouraged, we went and ate a delicious lunch at pf chang then headed to Target so i couild apply. I really really hope to get a job with david. Then we went to Chris Corley's house to play a game of poker. All of his friends canceled so it ended up being my group at a random kid's house. Then to taco bell with david and rachel. Overall a very fun day.
Sunday I visited rachel at work for a while. We had fun chattin it up, then met Stacy, Melissa, Nathan, Wei and later Griffin at Walmart to play some hide and go seek. There were 3 teams: team white chicks (melissa and rachel) team asia/diversity (wei, stacy, and griffin) and team testosterone (nathan and I) and basically me and nathan owned up. After the game, we went to sonic for shakes and food and stuff. Wei had the idea of going swimming, so we all went to Rachel's house for a dip in her pool, which was fucking freezing. Basically that day kicked ass as well.
Today I had chinese movie monday, where sven, chelsey, elizabeth, and allen came over and we watched shaolin soccer and kung fu hustle. Both very good and very funny.
So my weekend kicked ass. fuck school is tomorrow.

hmmmmm
Although i havent worked out in the past two days, i am not disappointed with the way they went. Both days i hung out with rachel (actually all day today) and just had a blast. What can i say, we have fun together. So i finally saw teh shining and raising arizona, now that i am done with the OC i have found all kinds of time to catch up on movies. next three from netflicks are gonna be shaolin soccer, kung fu hustle, and der untergang. foreign movie party anyone? how about at least stephen? I'm excited.
In other news, gas prices are redikulus. Today there was a line at QT on riverside that was coming from 3 directions that was at least 10 cars deep on all sides... rachel and i parked at an adjacent parking lot and walked there to get slushies. Mi gusta rooster booster freezoni.
So this friday i am having a few people i know from german class over to watch the big lebowski. I am really excited about it actually. I love making new friends (not that i dislike the old ones). It is just a good feeling when you know you can connect to others. It makes the world feel less lonely.
Saturday and Sunday i dont have set plans, but i know what i want to do...

This weekend had been rather awesome
Friday: Went to Cici's with lauren, ryan, kelly mcgee, ben, david, alex, and nathan. We have a mauvelous time. Afterwards we broke off, and i went with lauren's group to her house where we chilled and played cards and whatnot.
Saturday: I finished OC season 2! oh my god was it amazing. And for the record, i thought season two was just as good as season one.
Went to sven's house and watched fear and loathing in las vegas... which was rather good.
Then off to 40 year old virgin with stacey. The movie was hilarious, and i had an amazing time with stacey. yada yada yada I have a date to homecoming already.
Today i plan on getting hw done early and then hanging with rachel tonight.
